Try to format the stick on the keyboard. It must be in the FAT32 format.

To big! At that time 16 GB was about the maximum the keyboard could handle. So try a 16 GB formatted on the keyboard. 16 GB gives you a heck of a lot of space for thousands of styles, voices, midi's. You name it. But in separate folders of course as a max of about 300-400 files fit in 1 folder that can be read by the keyboard.

Dick thank you I figured as much being its an older model less storage adaptability ....
but I was able to use a 32G Samsund nano USB drive and it worked perfectly...so I guess 32 is the limit.

Thank you again

Yes agreed but only some brands worked. I had toshiba 32 GB USB's and they didn't work. Some Kingston worked but not all types. Anyway you are back in business.

Any good brand should work without problems, I use 32 gig sandisk usb sticks and after formatting them to fat 32 on my PC they all work perfectly but don't use quick format always use full format. They can take some time to finish so be patient, and don't work on anything else on your PC while the stick is formatting or it will fail, stick to 32 gig or smaller, 64 gig or above will not work properly.
PS:  There is no need to format these sticks on the Tyros 2, just make sure if you use your PC that you do not use " Quick Format" as this will make most brands fail on the Tyros 2!

Tyros 2, Nektar Impact LX25+, Orion Platinum, Samplitude Music Studio, Various VST instruments, Reaper, Goldwave and good old XG Works

I play the music, but the Cat plays the strings.
