Effect for a style
« on: January 02, 2020, 03:10:10 PM »
Hi everyone,

I was wondering if you can help me with finding a good effect for a song performance i'm working out

I'm working on the song Susanna by Art company and would really like to have the crowd clapping in the background

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9dzMzdQCNDw

Listen to the crowd clapping? The Claps multi-pad on the Genos is very unnatural and I need something that sounds more realistic of a crowd clapping in a stadium or concert hall

Do you have such an effect? MultiPAD?

Thanks so much

And if i already mention the song, if someone has a style or reggistration file that are better from what i have for Genos, i would highly appreciate if you post it here :)

There are websites that sell samples of just about anything imaginable that are reasonable priced. You can just buy what you need. Two site that come to mind are:

"Pond5"
https://www.pond5.com/?gclid=CjwKCAiAgqDxBRBTEiwA59eENx1HoBy8F4IL9PzwJBIgjjQzaHAkSkiU5Lq8wa0sR_pJZMlOk8eYVhoCSZcQAvD_BwE

Spice.com
https://splice.com/sounds

There are literally millions of samples. You should be able find something that works.

Search for the sounds. Try searching for "stadium claps".  Purchase then place on a thumb drive and import into Genos.
Then on Genos go to Menu (Gateway button) > Menu2 > M.Pad Creator > Audio Link Multipad.
Touch "Yes" to convert it to an Audio Link Multipad.
Touch any of the multipad slots and select the stadium claps that you purchasesd and imported.
It might be a good idea to buy several and try them out.
You could have a different one on each of the four multipad pads so can trigger more than one at time for variety and realism.
