Topic: Which instruments come closer in regard to playing styles on Tyros 4?

Hi, I am going to order a few styles from https://prostylemusic.net/ (ProStyleMusic) but they don't list Tyros 4 as a instrument for the styles. THey list  PSR S970 & S975 as well as Genos and Tyros 5. Can  you please let me know which of those instruments comes closer in regard playing styles on Tyros 4? Thanks!

Hi bolepa,
maybe you should contact the creator of the styles and he could help you better which version of them to use on the Tyros 4.

Afterwards maybe you will need to do some revoicing in some style parts and changing the values of effects for the styles to sound better on the T4 (by using the Style Creator and the Mixing Console).

Or maybe change the title of the post so he can see it.

Hi bolepa,

you should select the S910 (= introduced BEFORE the Tyros4) as instrument to have the best compatibility of the ProStyleMusic Styles to the Tyros4. Probably the S950 format will also work on Tyros 4, but the S950 was introduced AFTER the Tyros4. Therefore, the best choice, in my opinion, is the S910 compatible format.
