Topic: Speakers for TV

Hi Everyone,

A few weeks, months ago someone posted about a set of speakers for small gig use.  I believe the speakers were intended for use on a Television.  Priced about 50-60 pounds in the UK.  I wonder if anyone can direct me to the post.  I want to get a set for the large TV I have.  Or any recommendations.  Thank you in advance,

Hi Colin,
I have posted info before about what I have used for small venues...
A two speaker set plus a sub-woofer - these are often used for computer gaming, so you will find many versions to choose from.
The sub-woofer really helps the bass lines punch through!
I used this along with my keyboard speakers to play for about 60 people with no problem.

This speaker set-up is similar to what all the Tyros keyboards use...and it's easy to find more powerful ones in today's market.
I believe other people have also posted similar info...you can also check in the more general "Speakers & Headphones" board for more info (not this Genos one).

A couple of days ago I bought a set of speakers after reading a post here. Do not remember which. For a small gig he (or she) recommanded Logitech Z623. Well I am not using this for a gig but at home and I am very satisfied about the sound especially the bass.

And for your TV you can also look at sound bars which are designed for TV's...just make sure it's one with a sub-woofer.
