Topic: Genos and SX-900 from same YEM installation

HI,

I have a Genos and am buying a SX900 as well now.

I have a lot of custom pack installation in YEM on my PC.  To set up these packs, can I use the same YEM by importing SX900 instrument info or do I have to install a totally new YEM installation on a new PC and load all packs all over again in that YEM

You can have both instruments info files loaded in the same YEM instance. They show up as install targets on the left.

Each install target remembers its own set of selected packs so switching between them takes a minute or two.

Yes you work from the same YEM as mentioned just import your ID number from SX900 and it will appear on the left side of the screen under Genos. I have loaded in some of my Genos packs from Yamaha and they work very well indeed.
