Sx900 Expansion/User Voice side

Does anyone know why they put this switch here? As far as I know, it does the exact same thing as the Expansion/User switch on the Style side???

One shows voices and the other shows styles.

Thanks for the reply Eileen. I did not have any external voices yet, as this instrument is new, and new to me. I downloaded some voices from this psr tutuorial site some and sure enough, they come up off the USB drive and are usable on the Voice side. They sound very good, thanks, much appreciated confirmation.

Keep in mind those voices you downloaded off psr tutorial here are just .vce files, meaning they are just editing parameters someone saved from keyboards probably older than your SX900. Hardly any of those .vce’s are superior to the SX900 presets. Of course you can also do your own voice edits as well. If you want true quality expansion voices you need to obtain SX expansion packs that have new sampled waveforms in them and the installations of them are managed in YEM.
