OS2.01 : Insertion effect level not stored in the registration ?
« on: December 23, 2019, 03:52:21 PM »
Hello all

I just updated the firmware to 2.01.

I try to change the insertion effect level for the Rhythm2 part (page effect, in the mixer, page style), after having chosen the Lo-FI Drum 2 effect for the track.
It remains at the value = 127 when I recall the registration, even if I changed it to another value and stored the registration.
Do you have the same behaviour ?

Hi soundphase,
My findings confirm yours. Registrations do not retain the internal parameter changes (generally) to Insert DSP's used in styles, and apparently that includes changes to levels. Only the default levels are returned, normally 127 (although Delays have lower default levels, 32 or so). If you want to keep the changed values you can either save the style with the changes, (the set level will be returned) or save a user DSP while the level is changed then resave your registration.
Another option is to add the DSP as a System effect and set the Send appropriately. Those Sends are saved in Registrations.
