A Calypso for Christmas
« on: December 11, 2019, 02:56:31 PM »
In 1956, Harry Belafonte recorded Mary's Boy Child with a calypso rhythm, and the song's popularity grew with Uk and US audiences as a Christmas tune.  Andy Williams, Anne Murray, Boney M, Jim Reeves, and Roger Whitaker are just a few of the many artists who have covered the song.  I hope some of you will enjoy my simple Latin-Styled instrumental cover below.  Thanks for listening.
