Tyros. Saving Alterations To A Style ?.

How do other Tyros owners save adjustments to a Style.

Myself. OTS changes only select SAVE when all 4 OTS's are completed.
Then I select MENU CREATOR and SAVE to Named Style a second time.
QUESTION...Is this the best procedure..and is doing both necessary.

Hi Graham,
a) If you want just to adjuts or alter any of the 4 OTS voices(any of R1+R2+R3+left)
You choose the voices for eacg OTS e.g OTS1 you presss the Memory button, then the OTS1 button and save the style.
You do the same with all 4 OTS.
You don't have to enter the style creator at all for changing the OTS voices.

b) If you want to change the voices in the style parts(not the OTS voices) or to change anything else in the style, you select the Style Creator (and also call the Mixing Console and make other adjustments also) and save the style.
If it is a preset style you save it as a new style to the user memory or USB.

These two task are different and independent one from another.
We usually use both tasks(we change the OTS voices and also the style parts/voices etc to be suitable for a specific song we want to play).

panos. Excellent reply...that's how I see the way it is done. I have been saving twice but thought I could get away with just the one save in Creator. As per below !!!

Adjusting the OTS's and also changing DPS setting, I'm taking that it's best just to use the (MENU) Style Creator anyway, so it's just one SAVE.

OTS,Voice EDit and DPS of the right and left hand voices=Memory button+OTS
like in this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c2aLC81uVqw
This way we save on the OTS any sound that comes from our hands.

If the sound comes from the style then we use the Style Creator.

Mixing Console can be used in both cases depending on which voice we want to change.
The R+L voices(Panel part screen) or the voices of the style(Style part screen).
