How to work with a .prs file - Tyros 5
« on: December 09, 2019, 09:19:08 PM »
Hello folks,
I belong to a group, Keyboard America, Mike Mixon.  I purchased my T5 from his store a couple years ago.  He has a weekly teaching class with a new song etc.  He downloads the .sty and .pdf of the particular song he is presenting.  Nice site and fellow.

Mike had a major computer crash and lost tons of files he has sent us in the past.  He is now up and running and sent us many files to update our systems.

My question, all of these files are in .prs format.  I don't know how to open them.  I am familiar to .sty, .reg, and pack files.

Your help would be appreciated.  I have attached 1 file.

Tom

Hi Tom,
it's just a Yamaha style.
Yamaha uses several style formats like .sty and .prs for it's styles.
A ".prs style" is a "pro" style in Yamaha's terminology.
Also your T5 have several of those styles.

Just download it and hit the style play button  :)
