Modern Music
« on: November 05, 2019, 10:03:52 PM »
Hi Folks,
Many of us like myself are a bit long in the tooth and we play music from older times
I have been asked to play music for a party of people 30 of 40 years younger ( I am 82 )
I have no idea what to play, I have only just realised I have nothing in print or in my head
Pity really because we should keep up with the times
Now I have to keep a lookout for and learn more up to date music, no idea where to start
Just fishing folks to see what anyone might comment
Adrian

ABBA, Toto, Supertramp, Shaggy, UB40, Billy Joel, Robbie Williams, John Mayer, Coldplay, Modern Talking, Bee Gees,

I'll suggest more if I remember.
Regards Norman.

a lot of people around 40 till 50 really like 80's and 90's music.

Sorry, i don't have sheet music for these songs.

i play these songs by the lyrics and chord names (i use the Onsong app for that, which is a songbook in which you can add your sheets and fakebook notations)
the chords for this Johnny hates jazz song can be found here:
