Why the VH turns off the DSP effect for the mic?
« on: October 31, 2019, 11:54:37 PM »
The Insert DSP effect for the microphone is in 20th place. We can only save its status in Registration.
When selecting any Preset Vocalist, the microphone DSP insert automatically shuts off. When we create a Vocalist and join the included DSP and store it in USER, the DSP shuts down again.
I think this is a bug and it should be the same as going for DSP 21-28 designed for Style. When Style is invoked, specific DSPs for each channel are also activated.
It might be even better if calling Vocalist does not change the current status for DSP 20.
Does Yamaha have time to incorporate this into Version 2?
Watch the video showing the problem.

And on Genos registrations remember DSP. But if you directly select a VH preset, the DSP always shuts off. This should not be so as I do not call VH every time with registration.
