Topic: Genos Harmonizer Operation.

Can you operate the Vocal Harmonizer within the Genos with just a midi song no playing. I like to get up from behind the keyboard and interact with the audience on occasion. So I use a Midi song. I can do this with my TC helicon extreme 3 by just sending audio throught it without playing. Is this possible or do I have to use the TC Helicon in tandem.

Hi Nick, I use the VH with midi files by setting the track that I want to use in the VH settings. What I do is to record a chord sequence into a spare track (say track 16 or any unused other track) in the VH settings and set that track PLAY to NO or alternatively set the volume of the recorded track to zero after recording. In that way I need only to record that track on the parts that I need the harmony on. I can then leave the vocal harmony to on and know it will only harmonise where I want it to. I hope this helps
