« on: September 26, 2019, 05:43:32 AM »
Did anyone succeed in connecting the Genos to Ableton with the midi clock sync feature? How did you configure the Genos & Ableton?
It doesn't work for me.. :(

You have to make midi settings master slave midi clock
One must be master the second must be slave
by set the midiclock intern and extern

I did it, made the settings both in Genos & Ableton, but it's not working.
Any thoughts what can be wrong?

When the Genos is slave you have to press the  start knob
The Genos dont start but wait untill ableton start or visa versa
You also must setup the recieve and send midi channels
Use Midi a for song play
And midi b for the arranger

I was not aware of using midi a vs midi b, I will try it.

P.S.
The Genos and the computer are connected with USB and not Classic MIDI cable and MIDI notes/messages are transmited & recieved fine.

did you manage to map the voices correctly ? with all the LSB parameters ?
I also managed to connect but still cant get the midi to work perfect...
its so **** complicated...
videos on youtube show only Montage configuration with cubase and ableton, nothing on the genos...
may someone produce some nice content to explain once and for all how to configure the midi properly on this keyboard with ableton ?

regards
