I use the arpeggiator a lot. It really depends on what kind of music you are playing. Actually most all the style Parts were created using an arpeggiator. But playing a "live" arpeggiator is a little different. There are a couple of Arpeggio parameters in the
Live Control menu that are important. It takes awhile to learn how to play the arps. You don't just hold the notes down, but play note patterns (the melody) with the right hand and the arp will follow your playing. Try playing 2 notes then 3 notes while playing a melody.
1.
Arp Gate Time (this will determine the length of the notes)
2.
Arp Unit Multiply (this will determine the speed which the arp plays)
