Piano Voices Volumes?
« on: August 18, 2019, 02:35:37 PM »
Just got my s775 yesterday so I've still got a lot to learn thru experimentation.

One of the first things I noticed is the extreme inconsistency in volume among the piano voices.  In particular, the "Concert Grand" voice is much quieter than many of the others.  Is this normal?

I want to use this keyboard to play for seniors, many of whom have poor hearing, so I'm concerned about lack of volume on some of these voices.

Is there any way to increase/tweak the volume for some of these quieter voices beyond just maximizing the Master Volume Knob?

Thanks!
Bert

hi Bert,
you have a button on your keyboard called "touch" turn it on and off to see what it does.
Now turn it on and press the Direct Access and then pres the Touch button.
See what you like most, soft-medium-hard.
Once you have chosen one for the time being under your screen there are little numbers 1 to 10.
Exit everything to see your main screen.
Keep pressing number 6.You will see that now the Right one Voice is from volume 100 to volume 127.
Everything on your keyboard has it's own volume(voices, style parts, midis)
The disarable "voice" volumes for each song you can save them either on the OTS either on a Registration.

Let aside for the time being how we can change things on a style and in a midi song and focus on voice edit-saving styles with OTS-registrations.
