Topic: Does Genos 1.4 get the SX900 upgrades?

 I haven’t yet updated my keyboard to 1.4, but I see that the new Essex 900 series has a bunch of features Genos doesn’t have. Does the 1.4 upgrade provide these?

Chord looper
Style reset (for odd time signatures)
Joystick for trills

It also includes Genos upgrades like
- better keybed
- RH 3 voice
- Genos GUI
- better sound output

- I also love that in addition to the touch screen there are still style and voice category buttons.
- Bluetooth! (Finally!)
- onboard monitors
- portable for flights!

I would like to see these enhancements in a future Genos update. It will be interesting to see if, how or when Yamaha ports these features to Genos.

Total speculation -- v1.4 was a modest release to prove Yamaha's commitment to Genos as a platform while completing the initial SX models. I doubt if Yamaha has the software development resources to have multiple, parallel, full development teams. They need to schedule and assign their development resources carefully.

And still we don't know if is possible making Custom voices/drums with mixing internal/external samples?

If is this possible than SX-900 better than Tyros5.....
