Topic: Tempo display for Expansion pack styles

Hello all Genos-philes,

For all  the Genos native styles,  the tempo is displayed on the screen. For example, in the Pop category, Skypop style has a tempo of 125.
For the Yamaha Expansion, the tempo is not displayed.

So, there is something incoherent I don't understand, maybe, I am missing something ?
We can't rename the files to add the tempo information in the name of the styles.
So, any idea ?

The expansion packs I have the Tempo is showing up in the style window just as with onboard styles.
Have you had your packs updated to Genos ones.

You're right Luluc, the tempo is not showing up in the selection screen for the expansion styles, even if the style setting 'Show tempo' is activated.
Why ?
Once the style is selected the tempo is visible in the main screen.

As vlbrgt user confirms it, I'm speaking about the style selection window and not the main screen.

For the onboard Yamaha styles, we do have the tempo displayed.
For Yamaha Expansion packs, we do NOT get the tempo displayed.

I don't understand why ?
Dos this incoherency has been already reported to Yamaha in the past ?

Ah now I see what you mean. You will only get the tempo showing on the onboard styles. You will find this  on all Yamaha keyboards. It is not a big deal as Tempo is so easily changed to what you want.
  We often change the tempo to suit ourselves anyway.
