Keys have a funny sharp edge

Hi guys when you look at the bottom of the keys on the right they have a raised edge on each. Feels funny on the finger sometimes. Anybody know why they designed in this manner? Initially I panicked thinking I had a cracked key or two! 😳😳

For years, owners were complaining that the keys were too small, however, to me, it wasn't noticeable. It is quite possible that Yamaha changed the key style and mold to accommodate those individuals, thus the difference.

Good luck,
