part saving issue
« on: June 20, 2019, 02:16:02 PM »
lately I have been having an issue that, I change a voice in either right one or two, then I save the patch to a location in a registration, then I save the registration with changes. I leave to another registration bank, come back to the one I changed, and the voice I had changed is not the one I picked! Has anyone else ever encountered this? Thanks in advance

Do you have Voice ticked on registration memory.

What do you mean by ticked? I save the patch onto a memory location within a registration, then save the registration

You have a button marked Memory. In here you tick all the boxes of the things you want saved to your Registration Button like Pedals, transpose, Style Tempo etc.

After you press the Memory button, stop and take a breath. Study the screen. Make sure you have the groups that you want memorized checked ("ticked" in Eileen's parlance).

Too many people press the registration button immediately after pressing Memory, thereby missing out on the most valuable screen for registrations.

Finally, be sure to save the registration bank.

To save something, I leave all the boxes checked and save everything.
Just in rare exceptions I uncheck some box. I've never had any problems.
