Chord progressions on the PSR S770
« on: June 13, 2019, 12:05:06 PM »
Hello, OK, Where do I find the "Chord progressions" on my PSR S770 and how do I get to use this feature? Also:-
I have watched this video lots of times, in normal motion, slow motion, and have paused the video but no way can I get some of the sounds that this guy gets, especially the organs at time 11:00. Pity that the screen is not shown so that one can see the setup.

Regards,Den.
Also. What are "arpeggiations" Where do I find reference to this and how are they used. (Everyone knows except ME  :) )

I think it's a Intro or Ending.

They normally have Built in Chord Progressions.

Arpeggiations are basically arpeggios.

You have different patterns,.

It's basically 1 note trigger.

Some of the styles in the 'Dance' category are labelled "DJ styles" - these have inbuilt chord progressions too.

The organs at 11:00 in the video are mostly coming from one of the styles.

Arpeggios are when you hold down say C-E-G, and the keyboard plays a pattern of notes which includes the ones you're holding down plus notes from other octaves. Press DIRECT + HARMONY and select an arpeggio type, start the style, play a chord, then hold down notes on the right hand.

Thanks lots folks, Have found something new on my S770. I only bought it as my Tyros was too heavy and took so much time to set up at gigs. Now to have MORE fun. Thanks again, Regards, Den.
