USB audio recording like a pro
« on: April 24, 2019, 03:03:44 PM »
Hello everyone, I need your suggestions to do USB audio recording like a pro with S970.
Let me brief you on the issues that I had faced.

I had created my own styles using the style creator. I used an acoustic drum voice for rhythm 2 channel with mixing console volume as 70.
When I listen to the track with the built-in speaker, it looks okay but not great.

However, after recording as wav I listen with Studio monitors M-audio Bx5 below are the issues.
1. Total volume is almost 50% less compared to the other songs recorded with DAWs.
2. Kick drum volume is so heavy and rocky. it is like banging on the head. I am looking for a soft kick.
3. Quality and effects are normal

Can someone guide me with the solutions to record like a pro using USB audio recording option?

Thanks

The Recording Audio will be Low to Avoid Distortion.
You'll need to use a Software like " Audacity" to make it louder.

For the Kick Drum,
You'll need to Test and what sounds good on the Monitor Speakers

Use Drum Setup to Change and Adjust the Levels for each Kit.
Hope this is Helpful.
