A funny thing happened on my Tyros 4
« on: April 23, 2019, 04:57:21 PM »
Dear All.
Wondered if anybody could explain this.
I was playing a song for a party on Easter Sunday when the transposer feature on the keyboard started changing key on it's own!!
Also sometimes the ACCOMP 1 slider will turn itself up too.
As I have mentioned before my C&D style variation buttons are damaged but still work when pressed(They're both pressed in)

Cheers
John.

That was a new one!! Do you have the kb on a stable stand?

Possibly the transpose has been registered to another button. I have been caught like this. Set the button reg 1 to normal and then on button 4 I have set transpose to -4. This creates havoc. Just a thought. Regards, Den

Sounds like a hardware fault.

I used to have a TV that randomly switched itself off.

An a home computer (a ZX81!) where all the letter L's on the screen gradually transformed into K's over about 30 minutes as it heated up.
