Available Memory For Expansion Packs
« on: April 18, 2019, 09:59:08 PM »
When I purchased my Genos the retailer installed a bunch of expansion packs into the instrument.
I understand that the flash memory used for this is 1.8 GB in size, but is there a way to see how much memory is left for additional packs ?
Can't seem to find this in either the main manual or the reference manual.

Thanks for your help.

You will find this information on the Yamaha Expansion Manager which is Necessary for loading multiple
Packs in your keyboard. When you select the packs you want to load you will see along the top of the page a green line that will show how much memory it will use to load these into the keyboard.
I hope the retailer also gave you the packs on a USB stick because they will be needed to load into the YEM programme on your computer. Each time you load something new the Flash memory will format the keyboard expansion memory so you will need to load the packs along with the new ones in an install pack back into the keyboard.
