« on: April 06, 2019, 11:03:28 AM »
Anyone know of a PC or MAC Software to edit Genos Playlists outside of Genos then import into Genos' Playlist?
Thanks

Playlists are just .tsv files, so I use Excel or google Sheets.

Valimaties created a Playlist Editing program. Here is the link to it :):

Fred's method will work as well. Valimaties added a graphic interface to a program that does the same thing.

"Learn" your music correctly, then "practice" it. Don't practice mistakes because you'll learn them.

Thanks Lee...
I think my soft is more than only a graphic interface...
For those which does not know how to use Excel (there are some) to add new records to existing playlist, to combine one ore more playlists, to sort items, this soft it does those things more easily and quickly.
Please use this soft, it is more simple than using Excel, even for Excel advanced users ;)

Best regards,
Vali

You're right Vali - I had forgot about those valuable utilities you integrated into your program! A graphical user interface (GUI) is usually easier than manipulating a bunch of figures in a spreadsheet, especially if you have no experience in Excel. Learning Excel is not everyone's favorite task :). Thanks...

All very good, and I could use a spare Windows laptop to do this, but my main desktop and Laptop are both Macs - so as per the original question, is there a Mac version of Valimate's software or only in Windoze?

I will upload the last version of this soft in MAC app format too, so you will be able to use this application also on MAC. You will find the link in "Other Software" area of this forum.

Be aware, I didn't made any tests on it, so make some tests before use it on your big playlist files. Make a test playlist file on your keyboard, or make a copy of your original file before use it on MAC version of my soft.

Edited:
I have made a simple test of appending a playlist and save the new playlist, and everything is safe.
I saw the "Open Folder" button on "Add Record" screen does not work under MAC. It will open an empty dialog box with no folder to choose. I will try to check this thing next week...

Best regards,
Vali
