Thanks! I'm glad that Yamaha made a pre-release announcement. That's good for their PR and now everyone can get back to playing before June.  :D

Well, I was wrong, it was not v 2.0 but 1.4

Sure! ;)

Well, at least that shows the Genos is alive and kicking for Yamaha.

It seems this update won't be a blast of changes but some refinement. which is perfectly OK for me, as the Genos, as-is now, fullfills my needs, so any upgrade is welcomed.
