Genos and FCB1010
« on: March 10, 2019, 12:58:30 AM »
I just got this amazing midi foot controller brand new condition for 50$!  WOW

The only tiny, small, minute problem is that I can not figure out how to use it. I've tried to watch some youtube videos but they do not explain step by step how to set it up
. There's a member , He's name is voodoo and he seems to enjoy it smoothly without any issues

I'm trying to reach out to anyone who can shed some light on this. Can someone explain to me or refer me to a step by step of how to connect Genos With the Fcb1010

Video will be absolutley amazing!.

Despite the fact that it's in french it's very helpful.

I'm very close to figuring this out. I just ask you to help me with on tiny thing:
On the FCB1010  when I'm trying to modify a preset to trigger for example Vocal Harmony On/off it wants me to enter 3 things: Number, Value 1, Value 2

Can you please tell me what values should I enter ?

Hi
Pf ueh

One thing gets me about these foot controllers is ---"How do you press those buttons without accidentally pressing others with your big feet"!!! ;D
The application of these look good.

All the Best

Sorry to be late!
Number : The number is the number of the controller, (#cc)
Value 1 : The value given by the genos
Value 2 : a 0 (zero)

But as far as I remember, this way doesn't work. The genos is very special regarding all the midi concurrents. To emulate a button, you send the #cc on push and a zero on release of the button. Even doing like that it doesn't work always.

I have used the note mechanism: For each control you can send a midi note, that's the way I've used. Here is the French pdf

https://app.box.com/s/scltvc96q2ridakbpn27g7wls8xjutho

Even if you don't understand the language, there are some tables with cross references for #cc/ notes and so on.

Hello Elad,

I've watched the video. You use the pedalboard to configure itself. You've got a result according to the changing registration. In the pdf, I gave a link to donwload a PC application to configure the pedalboard:

https://mountainutilities.eu/fcb1010

As i'm not familiar with foot programming, I recommand to install this application which has also a great feature: You can share configurations. Here is mine, you can perhaps try to use it as first step.
