I downloaded the " PDFtoMUSIC PRO software program and scanned the music score sheet on my photocopier.

Uploaded this PDF score sheet into the PDFtoMusic Pro but the message indicated the following:

CAN'T BE PROCESSED BECAUSE IT DOESN'T INCLUDE ANY EXPLOITABLE MUSIC DATA.
THIS PDF FILE HAS PROBABLY NOT BEEN GENERATED FROM A MUSIC NOTATION SOFTWARE.

Please see attached the PDF score sheet and would like to know if it is possible to have a software program that can
upload the pdf score and save as a MIDI file!!!!

Thanks for your input and suggestions.

If your scanner can save the sheet music as a tif file instead of pdf then you can use Sharpeye (http://www.visiv.co.uk/) to convert it to midi or xml (for loading into a music notation program).

Hello Oz,

It will not work if you simply scan the sheet music - it needs to be a proper PDF file - as it says on their Web site :-)

Why don't you try to find a MIDI version of the song first and then import it to a notation programme like Sibelius or similar - you would get much better results that way. Or edit the MIDI file on your keyboard - depending on what you want to do with it.
