Topic: update for S-775/S-975

Hi guys, does anyone know, if there will soon be an operating system update for S775 / S975?

Maybe because other brands usually incorporates on their arranger keyboards new features or even new sounds, and Yamaha is the best on the market , so why not?

The keyboards only get updates if there is something that needs to be fixed. New sounds come with the expansion packs. So, in a way they are optional updates😀

You may be right, but Yamaha has the last word. we just have to wait and see. regards

This is true. But in fact Yamaha have no incentive to issue an update to the OS. They want to  - and will - sell a new version of the arranger itself. It seems to be a deliberate strategy for this market segment.
