Importing wallpaper
« on: January 04, 2019, 09:16:19 PM »
Does anybody know how to import wallpaper in the Genos?

I know that the size of the picture must be max. 800 x 480 pixels.
When I made a bitmap of this size I have no idea how to import this in the Genos.
I used the lyrics button E and then the selection for background. The picture will be displayed but there is still a white part where normally the text will be displayed. I do not know how to remove this part. Besides that you will still have in the bottom of the screen a part showing buttons and selection field. Is it possible to remove that as well?
It was my idea to display music sheets.
If the bottom line is not possible to hide or remove I can live with that. I must decrease the picture to, for example, 800 x 460 pixels. I can figure that out.

Hopefully somebody can point me in the right direction.
Regards,
Paul

Not entirely sure if this will help you.  Attached please find a page from Genos User Manual
explaining how to change the settings of the display.

it is page 83 and it also mentions the Genos Reference Manual.

Hope it helps.

thanks

The TextViewer screen is the one that shows the white box. Don't use that screen, instead select Lyrics screen and that will show empty screen (only the wallpaper). The bottom bar is not possible to hide.
