Master volume control knob on the T-5 question
« on: January 03, 2019, 01:37:25 AM »
I have a Tyros 5 that I have played with for a few years now. I use it for gigs with a band that I am in.  I used to be able to control the volume of the keyboard by using the master volume knob on the left side of the keyboard. Using the floor volume pedal is tricky when you are standing behind the keyboard. Lately the master volume control knob does not work when external speakers are used, however the floor volume pedal does work. The master volume control knob does work to control the volume in the headphones when they are used without the external speakers. Does anyone have any experience with this problem? I would appreciate anyone's input.
Thanks
Carol

I guess you connected to the wrong outputs, that have a fixed level? I did this😀

Yes. I put the 1/4 in jack in the sub #3&#4 aux out. That will not allow you to have different volume levels on the master volume knob.
