Topic: is there a tutti voice patch in tyros 5? (triggers timpani and cymbals)

in my psr  s970,  there is a string preset (like tutti in the newer s970)  that triggers a timpani plus cymbals on the left hand with a certain touch..

 my question is,,,  does tyros 5 have a preset like this?  or i need to load it as an expansion pack?

There is a voice called 'Tutti' which has the the same program number (000-120-050) as the one in your S970, in the String sub category of the Legacy category of the Tyros5 preset voices.

Try it and see if it is the one that you are looking for.

Hi --

"Tutti" is a legacy voice, so you will need to look for it in the "Legacy" voice folder and then the "String" category within that folder.

I don't have a T5, but if memory serves me right... In the lower right corner of the Voice selection screen, push the UP button. That should take you to a folder level where you should find the "Legacy" voice folder. Select the Legacy voice folder and then select the Strings folder. You should find "Tutti" within.
