 Hi all.  I have just purchased a PSR 775 after having owned a PSR 1500 for around 15 years. Play  for my own amusement at home playing some standards and also  some of my own compositions. My main instrument is drums , having played in various  bands for many years. Took up keyboard around 15 years ago as an alternative  way  of enjoying making music. The 775 has a far better sound than my old 1500 and more styles etc. Saving files, styles etc seems to differ and still struggling to get use to it. Surprised that the manual only has basic information. Less than half the size of the manual for my PSR 1500. I appreciate there is more info on line but personally find the manual more convenient.

Hello and welcome Lonely flower! I have a PSR 2100 and a 970. Saving styles is the same on the new models, only now you save to a USB device instead on a floppy disk😀

Thanks for the information and links to the tutorials. I was aware of the tutorial but used to find the manual for my PSR1500 was fine unlike the PSR 775 manual.  Have been on the tutorial today and it is very helpful and easy to understand. I uses to save styles , songs etc on my PSR 1500 to USB but am sure saving on the 775 requires a different procedure.

The dealer purchased it from not only sold at a good price but has included 2 free lessons on the operation, the first of which is next week.

What ever tutorial video you will find on youtube about the PSR S and Tyros series it will be helful to you also.
All these models for a long time now, work almost the same way.

Hope I'm using the correct method for replying. Many thanks for all the info and the links. Am making progress now having managed to get access to the files from my old PSR 1500. Having gone throught the PSR Tutorial think I may have been using the Registration section of my PSR 1500 incorrectly hence trying to find my way around my new PSR 775. Maybe because I'm a drummer - used to hitting things with sticks - not used to loads of butttons !!!!!! LOL

Yes, the PSR 775 is a fantastic keyboard. Love this forum. From reading info on the forum realized I had not been using the registrations on my previous 1500 correctly. Have recently retired ( temporary ) from 50 years of drumming so plan to spend more time on my keyboard. Might even learn to play proper chords instead of single finger method !!!!
