You did not give any details of what you had done to the drum kit which is different to the one that usually plays with that style. Sounded quite nice.

Nice! Did you swap out the designated drum kit for another?

I set the drums to the Revo Drums VintageMutedKit. I also set the chord #2 at 100 and the pad also at 100. The styreso at 26, gives a little more cymbol effect. I find increasing the chord 1 and 2 and the pad will really add to the background effects. Brings it right out. I also set my right 1,2,and 3 reverb at 40, large hall. The revo drums for my personal listening are great.
