How to edit and memorize an OTS in a style?
« on: September 28, 2018, 05:25:31 PM »
Dear all, I'm really going crazy. I would like to edit a voice select  group bank and store it in one style. I would also like to edit a multi pad control and one touch setting in the same style. I'm reading the manual but nothing is reported or I cannot figure out where it's written. Help me before it gets the genos hammered! Thanks so much :'( :-\ :-X :-[

1. Load the OTS (say OTS1).
2. Make the changes you want.
3. Memorize the OTS (Memory -> OTS1)
4. Save the style.

Make sure when editing your style you have the Multi pad selected that you want to link to the style. Now select OTS1 and alter the voice if required than press Memory and OTS1. A sign will ask if you want to save.
If you are doing all 4 OTS then press No and move onto the next one. Do your alterations. When you get to OTS4 press yes to save. Select where you want to save it and Press Save Here.
This is the same procedure on most Yamaha keyboards.

Good evening to everyone. Here I am still more confused than ever. Probably my english is not good enough. I'm from Rome (Italy). So I tried in every way but I can not change and save an OTS, a Multipad and a Registration Bank. What I would like to do is:
1. Change the OTS entries;
2. Change the multi Pad Control
3 Save them in a registration bank that contains different styles that I edit.
4. Is it possible to load a multipad created with Cubase?

Help!
  Please, I'm really getting stupid

I will answer question 4.

You must use PadMaker-Midi to convert the Multi Pad you created on a sequencer.  While Multi Pads are MIDI files, they are a special type of MIDI file. Link is below to download the PadMaker-Midi program.

You say that you want to save to a registration bank that contains other styles you use. OTS will only be changed in the style you are working on and multi pads will only be saved to that style also. You then resave that style as a used style and this is the one you save to the registration bank. Changes will only apply to that style.

Why bother.with OTS if you’re using registrations?  Just save everything in the registration.
