Tyros information Screen Fault

Hi Folks,
There is a vertical line down the LCD screen,
Apart from that the screen is still working
Has anyone else had this fault, if so did you repair it yourself or get it repaired by a technician
Any help would be appreciated

I had vertical lines on my screen. The lines were multicoloured and about 10 mm wide.
The repair needed some of the solder joints to the screen to be re-made.
After the repair the screen was perfect.

I was hoping it might be that simple
It can happen on flat screen tv,s
Just a bit nervous though about taking it apart
