B3 sound
« on: September 02, 2018, 06:35:06 PM »
Without buying one, how do I Duplicate the full, rich sound of a Hammond B3, slow, fast leslie. Which preset is the closest and if having to modify the draw bar settings, what would they be. My 75 year old ears have not been able to come close. Need this sound before I die !!
Thanks in advance.

If you are running your sound through an external amplifier I recommend you run through a pre amp first.

this is a good one to use  especially if you can isolate the Leslie sound through it .

Having that pre amp inline You can then, with experimenting with the draw bars,  just about  get the B3 sound  exact.

I Believe in the K.I.S.S. Principle.
