Downloading files with winzip22
« on: August 26, 2018, 07:22:33 AM »
I have not used Winzip for years, but have bought the new Winzip 22 and all has changed. It used to be so easy. Could someone please give me a 123 guide to getting styles etc from the computer to my USB stick.Cheers. Jean.

With any Winzip, right click winzip , move the pointer to winzip, then select attract to here.
After it extract all the style, you left click on the first styles then press the Shift key and left click on the last style.
Now all the styles will highlight with blue.
Right click on the highlight, select copy
Move the mouse pointer to USB , right click, then select paste
Hope it will help.

Yes ...

a R-Click on the archive with the mouse usually gives to an extract here ... or extract option in the 'context' menu (the popup menu you see when you r-click on some folders and files)

Windows NATIVELY supports extracting zip (and a few other 'compressed' formats) WITHOUT needing to install Winzip .. or Winrar at all!

Why use Winzip at all? Windows handled zip files itself. Just double click on the file, and it will open up like a folder.

Thank you everyone. I have followed Deepsaes instructions and have managed it using Winzip,. Very happy now. Thanks to this great forum I can always get help when I need it. I had just bought Winzip for $49 so thought I had better learn to use it but all the other answers may help other members. Its wet and cold in Melbourne, we have a new Prime Minister, the parliament is in turmoil and I am wondering if the speaker of the house has a permit for working with children!!! Cheers .Jean. :D :D :D
