S975 backing tracks with a Steinway
« on: August 18, 2018, 04:33:49 PM »
A new, local hotel has a full-size Steinway Grand piano, with no one to play it.  They won’t allow an arranger in the room, but asked if I’d give it a try.  After 3 gigs, it’s going well; however, I still prefer my S975, because of all the wonderful voices for soloing.  I’m using two, small powered speakers placed slightly behind me, with mp3 backing tracks created from the S975 (no vocals).  That, in combination with the Steinway, makes for an interesting sound.  People seem to like it.

Interesting setup.  Wish I could watch and listen.
