You are being very patient about it, which is good. I know it helps that you still have another keyboard you can play, but here's hoping you'll get your PSR-S970 back in time for Christmas!

I hope so, Michael :) They have now got the right parts, and say that "it is undergoing rehabilitation!" I have a gig on monday, and have to use my trysty old 2100! So my floppy disks are packed whit Christmas styles :) It definitely helps to have another keyboard! I am not a very patient person, but there is nothing I can do but wait....

No, Eileen! I was at the store today, and they called the repair shop. It is still sitting there, and the guy who is working on it was not there, so I am no wiser! But they had gotten in a used T5/76. They wanted the same price as for an S975. It looked great, but there was no stand. I have asked the forum for advice. Have to sleep on it. I loved the tilted screen, but it is a very BIG machine!! Thanks for asking  dear Eileen :)

So sorry you still have not got your 970 back yet. Should only take half an hour at least to fit a new case.
Tyros 5 76 note is a lovely keyboard but very heavy compared to 970. The key bed is much nicer though.

Thanks, Eileen :) I was wrong, it is a 61 keys model, and in pristine condition, so I broke down and bought the T5 today!
I intend to keep my S970 also, it is convenient to have a lighter keyboard that easily can be moved around. Got the T5 for half the price of the Genos. Genos is not an option for me because of my very low vision.
I LOVE the T5!!!

That was a big patient's explosion right there.  :D That is what is happening, when you keep patient for so long.  :P Congratulations for your new toy! Share with us some pictures if you make it to take your fingers from its keys today.

Thanks, Arvacon and Murray :)
I am in the act of setting it up now!
Since it is on the big side, I had to think long and hard where to place it!
I really did not have the space, but what the heck. I can still sit in my sofa and slepp in my bed without hitting the keys, so than all is well :)

Hi Toril,

Congratulations on your T5.  8)

I notice that you know have a PSR S975 in your gear list. Did eventually the music shop replace your broken S970? I am curious.

So did they finally replaced your broken one with the 975?
Why did they do that and why not giving you back the old one that they were saying stories about repairing it and wait for parts and all these stupid excuses for so much time?
Why they could not just do this from the beginning?
They are unexeptable.. At least finally you have got what you deserve.

Thanks Arvacon and Bruce. Yes, it all ended well! I would have been happy to get my old keyboard back, but seing how it looked after being damaged in transport, I am glad that I got a new one. The hull was broken, pieces missing and I almost fainted when I saw it.
