Playing Slash Chords on Genos?
« on: July 28, 2018, 03:22:04 AM »
I am using A1 Fingering on my Genos. Should I be using another fingering type to
play chords with a slash  and be easier to do so?   Playing  C/Bb or G/F  is no problem as  long as the note after the slash mark is lower than the  note(key) prior to the slash. I have difficulty playing chords such as:  C/D  ,  F/G etc.   Playing these chords on an acoustic piano is no problem but apparently I have to  process it differently in my mind  to use the correct fingering on my Genos.  Hope this makes sense. Thanks.

Summary - Fingered On Bass mode will do that. If you are comfortable playing chord inversions you can pick the one which lets you easily add the bass note you want.
