We can't sync Multi Pads with an Intro, but can do it with the Main Sections.  Intros usually have chord progressions which the Multi Pads cannot follow. But if you wish to create a special Multi Pad with chords of the Intro.  You can record one as a MIDI file by playing along with the Intro and then convert it to a Multi Pad by using the PadMaker-Midi.  Set the Multi Pad to play just once and NOT repeat.  Set the Multi Pad to Sync Start with the style Intro.

To have a multipad start when you press a chord, use SyncStart (the button to the left of the four mp buttons). The button will be flashing, just like the style start/stop button.

You can also save this in a registration, so it will sync start automatically when you load the registration. Just make sure the button is flashing when you memorize the registration. It's the same idea as having a style variation button flashing when you memorize the registration -- ie, it will start with a fill.

Hope this helps,
Fred
