Touch Screen Maintenance

(1/3) > >>

Depo1964:
While I've only had my Genos for a couple of weeks,
I've noticed that I have to clean the screen of finger prints with a micro-fiber cloth quite often....
maybe every other day.
How often do you clean your touch screen?
Could it lead to problems by cleaning it too often?

Al Ram:
I created my own Genos screen protector and do not have to clean the Genos screen anymore . . . .

Hope this helps

Depo1964:
Thanks Al,
Looks like ink jet transparency sheets are the way to go.  :)

Al Ram:
yes.  that's what i did and it is great.

have a great day

Stijn:
These are the dimensions for the screen protector:

20.2 x 11.6  cm   / 7.95 x 4.56 inches

The transparency sheets like the ones that are used in Ink Jet Printers are firm, don't wrinkle, are very clear and they don't show fingerprints at all!
The response of the touch screen is not affected.

When it gets 'dirty' you just throw it away and replace it with another one. You can cut 2 protectors out of 1 sheet.
Don't clean the rough side of the Transparency with water because you'll get stains on it.

Regards,
Stijn
