Evolution of Multi Pads Control
« on: June 09, 2018, 05:15:36 AM »
Hello everyone, this wonderful forum!

Changes in Multi Pad Control, what I like in the new PSR:

1) Be able to identify all Multi Pads on the main screen, without using any other buttons or extra control, or change the screen.
When selecting a Muti Pad "X", for example, there would be the name of the 4 Multi Pads,
as already happens above the name of the Registration Memory.

2) Full control of effects on Multi Pads (Reverbs, chorus, overdrive, etc);

3) Quantize and control Parameter (NTR, NTT and Note Limit);

4) Recording of voices "S.Art!", Or any voice without exception;

5) Another thing, I would like the yamaha to jump from 4 to 8 Multi Pads,
if it is necessary to increase the number of midi channels, to make this increase.

It would be a great evolution!

Thank you all
Enildo

How about having appropriate-sounding multi-pads pre-selected by Yamaha and “attached” to each style---ready to go, so that the user doesn’t have to spend a lot of time searching and trying-out pads to see if they work OK, with any given style?  I trust Yamaha’s judgement and taste in such matters.  One wouldn’t have to use the multi-pad.  I rarely use them because in its present form, it’s cumbersome to use.
