Created a pop song medley on the Yamaha s770
« on: April 29, 2018, 03:46:04 AM »
Hello friends,
I have created a medley of pop songs played on the s770 and uploaded it to youtube.
Here is the link:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_7gZ7jPdTE

Hope you enjoy listening to it.
Comments, Feedback, and Other song suggestions that I could add to this list are welcome.

Here is the song list (also there in the video description):
1. Tarzan - Two worlds
2. Aerosmith - Don't wanna miss a thing
3. Celine Dion - All by myself
4. Lionel Richie - All night long
5. Coldplay - Clocks
6. Carpenters - Close to you
7. Abba - Dancing queen
8. Sting - Desert Rose
9. Yves Larock - My dream is to fly
10. The Police - Every breath you take
11. The Pointer Sisters - I'm so excited
12. Survivor - Eye of the tiger
13. Steve Perry - Foolish Heart
14. BeeGees - How deep is your love
15. Eric Carmen - Hungry eyes
16. Stevie Wonder - Isn't she lovely
17. Kenny G - Joy of life
18. Kenny Rogers - Somewhere my love
19. Kylie Minogue - Can't get you out of my head
20. Madonna - La Isla Bonita
21. Ricky Martin - Maria
22. Micheal Learns to Rock - Sleeping child
23. Rick Astley - Never gonna give you up
24. Alicia Keys - New York
25. Wham - Last Christmas(remix)
26. Phil Collins - In the air
27. Phil Collins - Against all odds
28. Phil Collins - Another day in paradise
29. Robert Miles - Children
30. Shakira - Waka Waka
31. Chris De Burgh - Lady in red
32. Steve Perry - Oh Sherrie
33. Elton John - Sacrifice
34. Stevie Wonder - I just called
35. Stevie Wonder - Part time lover
36. Bryan Adams - Summer of 69
37. Stylistics - You are everything

The EMI music company has laid copyright claims for 2 or 3 portions of my recording.
This is a mistake I believe because I recorded all of this in the s770 using the build-in/downloaded/custom styles.
Maybe it sounds very close to the original for those songs.
Not sure if I should raise a dispute, since I am not that well-versed about the policy regarding 'song covers' in general.
Let me know if any of you has had any experience in this area.

Very nice!
There is a lot of fun and satisfaction playing those babies.
I believe a sustain/damp pedal would make the solo playing more richer and full for some instruments (pianos and guitars especially).

Terrific medley of songs.
They sound really great!
Any chance you could post the styles you used for each of the songs ?
I know it is a lot of work but, wow, I would love to try some of these songs myself.

Thanks for posting.
