Muting the speakers on ew400
« on: April 24, 2018, 03:19:12 AM »
Hello - I have tried the SP MUTE on function, but it reverts to off every time I turn the keyboard off and on again. Does anyone know how to mute the speakers without this happening? I'd like to be able to use my external speakers exclusively.  Thanks for any help.

Hello :) I don't have this keyboard, but if you put a jack plug in the headphone outlet, the speakers turn off. Much easier than going into settings. But, you have to remember to have that plug wit you always :)

From a technical point of view, I do the same, but use a stereo plug, as a mono plug will be shorting one channel to ground. Maybe not the best thing to be doing.
