Microphone volume
« on: March 24, 2018, 01:54:08 AM »
Hi, is it correcr that when recording audio with a micronphone added, the volume of the mic is independant of the general volume knob? At least, i had to lower the sound of the song to be able to hear the microphone.

Thanks in advance,

Rob

Hi Rob

The way I set things up is to LOWER the STYLE volume down to 68. Set the OTS to match the lower style setting of 68, then save the style as a USER style with a New name. Leave the MIC volume setting at 100. Then you can record with the WAV recorder with the Master Volume knob set at about 2 o'clock just fine.

That is how all my MP3 recording were created that are in my Library, you can hear them in my Signature link below if you like.

Regards
Drake

Thanks Drake, I'll follow your advise: 68 for style and OTS or instrument voices and 100 percent for the microphone.
PS.: I saw you used a headset microphone, that looks more practical when performing in public.

Thanks again for your reaction,

Rob
