If your keyboard will record an audio (WAV) file, that's what you should do. Then convert to an MP3 and transfer to your iPhone.

If the keyboard won't record an audio file, I think the only option you have is to record it using the phone's microphone.

The biggest problem is getting the keyboard connected to the phone for audio recording, since I don't think phones or tablets in general have audio input jacks (AUX IN which would be stereo, or MIC IN which would be mono).

There are companies that make audio interfaces which might work, depending on your phone. For instance, iConnectivity makes various interface devices for connecting guitars or other audio devices, as well as MIDI devices. And Griffin also makes various interface devices, although some of them (such as the StudioConnect) are advertised as working with the iPad rather than the iPhone, and some of the online user reviews say that it didn't work with their iPhone. However, Griffin makes an iMic interface for connecting an audio stereo input to a USB output, so you might be able to use their iMic, coupled with a USB adapter from Apple (USB-to-Lightning, USB-to-30-pin, or whatever the iPhone 6 uses).

But I'm not trying to push Griffin, and there might be cheaper alternatives. Aside from iConnectivity, you might also check to see what's available from IK Multimedia:

I have tried to get my head around a couple of programs I have or have had installed in my Ubuntu (Linux) operating system.  Like I still have Audacity installed.  I can connect a audio cable from the headphones slot on my keyboard.  The other end of the cable, has a small connection pin.  Meant for a small speaker I have.  So I've tried to plug it into my computer line-in.  Just have not worked out the program.

I just looked.  You can export to a number of formats like MP3.  My problem is that I have not worked it out.  How to set the sound up properly and make it work.
