Clavinova 307

can any one help with setting up registration bank i have done 1 bank of 8 and want to do another without loosing bank 1 can any body explain how

Hi LesJ,

Choose your registration.(J button if I am not wrong)
Press save.
Rename your registration as "Empty" and save it as a NEW registration.
Now you have two similar registrations with diferrent names.
To the "Empty" reg press edit and delete all registrations from 1-8
Save again the registration.
Make the changes you want and save again as NEW registration.
I think is better to keep this "Empty" registration so you can easilly create new ones.

Before you try anything first save your registration both to user and usb folders to make sure that if you make a mistake you will not loose your first registration.

Panos has provided a very nice short explanation of how you can proceed by creating an Empty registration file.  If you have not seen it yet, be aware that there are a whole series of "lessons" on registrations as well as Yamaha files in the Lessons section of the PSR Tutorial web site.  You might take a look at Gary's lesson on creating registrations.  You'll find it here:

it took a few attempts but i think i have cracked it now  thanks a lot les
