BASSLINE MELODY/NOTES - Style Creator PSR S770
« on: February 27, 2018, 08:53:44 AM »
I was going to post two questions in this topic, but i'll make this easier for anyone in the future who specifically wants the same information. There will be another question posted as well in a different topic.

I currently have the Yamaha PSR s770 keyboard. My question is about style creator, I was wondering why some of my bassline lines/melodies are inverted (backwards) in certain chords? Should I use different parameters or adjust anything else in the settings?

I saw your other post.  I think you have some homework ahead of you. You can change the High Note in the CASM settings.  This is easiest accomplished with software like SytleMagic.  If you used the Transpose buttons you will find that the inversions you allude to will change with the key you are playing in. This is due to the High Note setting.

See the attachment.  Working in software is so much better than Style Creator.

BTW... StyleMagic will allow you to do what you want to do in your other post... but it is not so easy if you are new to the program.
